We are pleased to announce that KAFEA TERRA signed the Diversity Charter, which is adopted in Greece by KEAN – Youth Alternative Search Cell and is an initiative of The European  Committee for the promotion of Diversity in Business.

On this occasion, Mr. Iordanis Iosifidis, General Manager of KAFEA TERRA stated “We are very proud that we signed the Diversity Charter, because for us equality and respect for those who are different are fundamental values. We aim to continue to serve the same corporate culture and evolve for a better future“.

In order to facilitate the increased need for transport to hospitals due to the outbreak of pandemic of Covid-19, we decided to support National Emergency Aid Centre (EKAB) and offer a fully equipped brand new ambulance. In this endeavour, we are really all together.

As the pandemic is present and continues to apply intense pressure on the National Health System, we feel obliged to continue to support EKAB employees, who surpass their limits fulfilling their heavy duties, offering 50 espresso coffee machines and 150.000 Dimello capsules along with all the necessary accessories, in order to facilitate their difficult daily work, by enjoying quality coffee at their place.

When you are coffee you never forget where you came from. Ethiopia, apart from being the birthplace of coffee, gives us some of the world’s top-quality coffee beans.

Our initiative in co-operation with the Ethiopian Ministry of Education took place to help local kids have better schools, desks and libraries. To have a better future.

KAFEA TERRA announces a great collaboration with the Greek Organization “Odyssea” in the framework of the barista vocational training program.

The free barista vocational training program will be conducted at the premises of KAFEA TERRA in Peania, in a pioneering training centre that develops and promotes the philosophy and culture of high quality coffee through specialized seminars, with speakers from the company’s Authorized SCA Trainers.

We support charitable foundations and non-profit organisations on a regular basis. In 2020 we donated around 37.000kg of products to NGO’s and employees.

Recently we supported with products the organizations: Club for Unesco of Piraeus & Islands, Reto Hellas, Praksis, Food Bank, Together for Children and Social groceries all over the country.

KAFEA TERRA is on the side of the firefighting body in every possible way. In 2021 the company covered part of the needs that arose during the summer season by offering:

• free firefighting equipment worth €5.000
• espresso coffee machines and Dimello capsules to meet the daily needs of 75 volunteers of the Municipality of Argyroupolis-Elliniko
• provided Company’s truck to facilitate the Red Cross transporting the food collected to be distributed to the fire victims of the municipality of Evia

Within the framework of the new institution “Adopt a School – Education Plan 2021-2023” we supported the 1st Kindergarten of Peania, covering the costs for the supply and installation of synthetic turf, aiming to create a safe and pleasant outdoor environment for children.

At KAFEA TERRA we organize twice a year voluntary blood donation that takes place in our facilities in order to make a living offer to our fellow human beings.

KAFEA TERRA in the context of supporting volunteer groups, with the contribution of its employees, participated for 3 weeks in a special walk with “Deipno Agapis”, offering 3.150 portions of food, water and sweets to our homeless fellow citizens in Athens.

As members of the “Food Saving Alliance Greece”, we are committed to raising awareness on this major issue. In this respect we organized in partnership with the NGO “Mporoume” a training online seminar for KAFEA TERRA’s employees “Every meal matters” with objective to raise awareness about the social, environmental and economic benefits of reducing food waste and several ways that contribute to it.
