On October 1st, KAFEA TERRA proudly participated as a Gold Sponsor at the Coffee Industry Forum, hosted at OTE Academy in Marousi, Athens — an important event for professionals in the coffee sector.

During the conference, our Production Manager, Panagiotis Kakleas, delivered an insightful presentation on: “Intelligent Coffee Production: How Artificial Intelligence is Reshaping the Industry”.

As far as sales representatives and external technicians are concerned, the Company provides brand-new company cars with low fuel consumption engines.

Regarding our fleet of corporate vehicles in 2021, 71% of total renewals and additions, have environmentally friendly technology (hybrid & plug-in hybrid technologies).

As part of activations for the protection of the environment, we planted 1.000 trees in collaboration with the “We4all” organization, achieving a common goal: to act protecting our “home”.

At KAFEA TERRA we support actions that promote respect for the environment. In collaboration with the Municipality of Peania and the Attica Zoological Park, we offer all the children of the primary schools of Paiania and Glyka Nera an educational program of environmental learning.

More than 1.700 children will either take park tour actually or virtually, or participate in the “Zoo to the School”.

Employees of KAFEA TERRA, participated in voluntary environmental activities in various areas of the country and managed to collect a total of 1.535 litres garbage helping to achieve a major goal for the protection of the environment set by the team of “Save Your Hood” team.

KAFEA TERRA becomes a member of the environmentally targeted platform “In the Loop” and sets the circular economy into practice: undertakes the systematic collection of plastic waste, directs it to In the Loop platform, in order to produce new sustainable products through the process of upcycling.

“In the Loop” platform is an initiative of the Plastics of Thrace group.

KAFEA TERRA participates in the “alliance” to reduce food waste, one of the most important global problems affecting the environment, the economy and society.

With the signing of the Voluntary Cooperation Agreement, it joins forces with other cooperating parties, in order to highlight good practices and implement actions to combat the phenomenon.

We responded positively to the needs of the Municipality of Peania and offered financial support for the care of stray animals. The care and proper treatment of pets requires the awareness of all of us.
