KAFEA WAS BORN
Kafea Commercial Technical S.A. was set up and undertook exclusive importation and distribution of illy caffè in Greece.
“FREDDO” RECIPE: A WORLD’S FIRST
The Kafea Terra Team invented the recipe for “freddo” (espresso based cold coffee beverages) in Greece with illy coffee.
NETWORK EXPANSION
Initiated expansion of the nationwide partner network.
NEW BRANCH
A Kafea branch was established in Thessaloniki.
DIMELLO COFFEE INITIATION
Attica Terra S.A. was launched to provide an investment platform for the production and distribution of Dimello coffee.
NEW FACILITIES & DIMELLO LAUNCH
New processing facilities were inaugurated with state-of-the-art coffee processing plant in Peania and Dimello coffee was being launched on the Greek market.
NETWORK EXPANSION
Kafea established an affiliate company in Bulgaria.
UDC INAUGURATION
The Università del Caffè de la Grecia, a pioneering illycaffè training centre, was inaugurated in Athens.
DIMELLO TRAINING CENTRE
Dimello set up its own proprietary training centre, known as the “Dimello Campus”; with the aim of developing and promoting coffee culture.
SPECIALTY COFFEE LAUNCH
Kafea launched a new coffee brand “Area 51” with the intention of introducing speciality coffees to Greek society.
KAFEA TERRA FOOD & DRINKS S.A. CREATION
Kafea Commercial Technical S.A. was absorbed by Attica Terra Food & Drinks S.A., creating the singular entity; Kafea Terra Food & Drinks S.A.
FACILITY EXPANSION
A new logistics management centre was built and opened at Markopoulo (Attiki) that added 5,300 m2 to the total surface area of the facilities.
DIMELLO RETAIL PRODUCTS LAUNCH
Dimello introduced numerous product listings to the consumer and retail market.
NETWORK EXPANSION
The subsidiary Kafea Terra UK was established in the heart of London.
NETWORK EXPANSION
Kafea Cyprus, an affiliate company was established with the purpose of distributing and promoting illy coffee in Cyprus.
1ST SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
The Kafea first Sustainability Report was released and distributed to all stakeholders.
NEW FACILITIES IN THESSALONIKI
New building facilities were purchased for the Kafea Thessaloniki branch.
